坻塢小米,又稱坻塢貢米,特色小米.。 據傳,唐貞元十六年,德宗皇帝偶爾品嘗了當地供奉的小米,食后大悅:“清爽可口,真乃神米,何不為貢?”地方志載:清乾隆帝飲用此米,王氣振作,龍顏大悅,夸其為神米,遂定為貢品,并賜御匾“敕賜義民”。自此,坻塢貢米聞名遐邇。
營養與功效
該米產于豫西古城澠池縣仁村鄉坻塢十里河川。該川地下水資源豐富,土質肥沃,土壤養份獨特,這里天然的生長環境和條件形成了獨具特色的坻塢小米。加之當地農民選用傳統的谷種播種,使坻塢貢米與其它地域,迥然不同。坻塢貢米米粒飽滿,色黃如金,米油豐富,粘糊性強,煮飯可揭三層米紋,涼后與碗粘合,入口甘醇,清香宜人,回味悠長。經有關部門檢驗,內含豐富的蛋白質、粗脂肪、賴氨酸,多種維生素和礦物質元素。常食此米,可健脾益胃、補血降壓、抗病抑癌,延年益壽,強體健身,對消化不良、高血壓、冠心病有較好的預防作用,是孕婦、兒童、年老體弱以及慢性病患者理想之補品,饋朋贈友首選之佳品。1、含有豐富的脂肪,為大米8倍,且主要為不飽和脂肪酸。2、含有大量的維生素E,為大米的6倍。3、膳食纖維含量豐富,為大米的5.2倍。4、含鉀高含鈉低,鉀鈉比大米為9:1,而小米為66:1,坻塢小米為82:1,經常吃些小米,對高血壓患者有益。5、含鐵量高,為大米的5倍;含磷也豐富,為大米的2.3倍。這就是小米能補血、健腦的原因。
Chiwu Millets
Chiwu millet, with another name of Chiwu Tribute Millet, is a distinctive breed. According to the local county records, the Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty ever gave it a high praise after eating it and set it as a tribute. From then on, Chiwu tribute millets earned its widespread reputation.
Chiwu millets are produced in Shili Stream in Chiwu Village, where plentiful rich water resource, fertile and unique soil produce distinctive millets. Besides, local people sow traditional seeds so that they are much different with others. Chiwu millets are plump, golden-colored, much sticky and have rich millet oil, sweet taste, fragrant smell and lasting flavor.
