蘭考沙里紅是河南省的特色水果。也是當地一大特產。
價值:
蘭考沙里紅內含豐富的維生素、山楂酸、檸檬酸、黃酮類等,有消食化積,降低血脂和減輕動脈硬化的療效,常食可預防心血管疾病。“紅果”用紅果與白糖制而成,色澤紅潤,甜酸適中,味美可口,營養豐富,是醒胃助餐紅果”,是中國特有的珍貴資源。我國古代醫學家早已重視山楂的軟堅消積作用。煮老雞硬肉時,加幾顆山楂即易爛,說明它有消積肉食的作用。中醫成藥焦蘭仙、保和丸、山楂丸等均以山楂為其主要成分;山楂還有散淤、止血、防暑、提神等作用。山楂還富含胡蘿卜素、鈣、齊墩果酸、鳥素酸、山楂素等三萜類烯酸和黃酮類等有益成分(黃酮類多聚黃烷、三聚黃烷、鞣質等多種化學成分),能舒張血管、加強和調節心肌,增大心室和心運動振幅及冠狀動脈血流量,降低血清膽固醇和降低血壓;此外,山楂對心臟活動功能障礙、血管性神經官能癥、顫動性心律失常等癥也有輔助治療作用;山植還含有槲皮苷,它有擴張血管、促進氣管纖毛運動、排痰平喘之功能,故山楂是防治心血管病的理想保健食品和有較好療效的食品。
形態:
落葉灌木。枝密生,有細刺,幼枝有柔毛。小枝紫褐色,老枝灰褐色。葉片三角狀卵形至棱狀卵形,長2~6cm,寬0.8~2.5cm,基部截形或寬楔形,兩側各有3~5羽狀深裂片,基部1對裂片分裂較深,邊緣有不規則銳鋸齒。果實較小,類球形,直徑0.8~1.4cm,有的壓成餅狀。表面棕色至棕紅色,并有細密皺紋,頂端凹陷,有花萼殘跡,基部有果梗或已脫落。質硬,果肉薄,味微酸澀。復傘房花序,花序梗、花柄都有長柔毛;花白色,直徑約1.5cm;萼筒外有長柔毛,萼片內外兩面無毛或內面頂端有毛。梨果深紅色,近球形。花期5~6月,果期9~10月。

蘭考沙里紅又名紅果。紅果,又名山楂、山里紅、酸楂。味道酸甜,具有消積散氣等功用。現醫藥所用山楂丸,熱性健脾胃,助消化,還可加工成多種食品如山楂糕、糖蘸山里紅和紅果酒等。沙里紅個大、大紅色、皮薄、肉厚呈粉紅色,閃光發亮,食之味酸甘美。
