洛寧煙葉

    洛寧種植煙葉以“紅花大金元”品種為佳，于1983年引種初獲成功。1984年在崤山腹地的上戈、羅嶺、中河、小界、楊坡河底六個鄉大面積種植。
      
    “紅花大金元”品種，為少葉品種，屬清香型，抗逆性強，適應性好，產量適中而穩定。莖桿粗壯，棵型緊湊，節距均勻，株葉18—20片左右，長而橢圓，主脈較粗，腰葉一般長61.2厘米，最長84厘米，寬22.3厘米，最寬38厘米。烤后黃煙率可達98%左右，色澤鮮亮，油分較足勁頭適中，香氣好，吃味佳。洛陽市“花城”，臨汝縣“蕉葉”因用洛寧煙葉作原料而極為暢銷。
