林縣山楂又名北楂。產于河南林州。有豫北紅和林紅兩個品種。特點：豫北紅單果平均重7.8克左右；林紅單果平均重11克左右。色澤深紅，果圓，果點突出。林州地處豫北，太行山東麓，地勢較高，氣溫偏紙，土壤以棕壤、褐土為主，呈微酸性。其山楂樹高5米左右，結果多，產量穩定。
 

Linxian Hawthorns 

     
    Linxian Hawthorns, also called Northern Hawthorns, are produced in Linzhou City and include two breed: Northern Henan Red Hawthorns and Linxian Red Hawthorns. They are in deep red color and round fruit shapes covering with outstanding flecks. Linzhou City is located in Northern Henan, which has higher terrain, a little low temperature and brown and light-acid soil so that hawthorn trees grow very well and have a high and steady yield.
