滑縣麥黃杏杏是夏季早熟水果,每年麥黃時(shí)成熟上市,故而得名。其特點(diǎn)是成熟早,個(gè)頭大,果肉甜,味鮮美,樹(shù)冠大,產(chǎn)量高;h年產(chǎn)量在250~300萬(wàn)公斤左右;h栽種杏樹(shù)距今已有3000多年的歷史。1978年后,滑縣每年把鮮杏加工成杏干、杏脯、罐頭等,銷(xiāo)往全國(guó)各地。杏營(yíng)養(yǎng)豐富,全身是寶,其核是有名的中藥。杏味酸甘、溫和,具有下氣潤(rùn)嗓,鎮(zhèn)咳定喘,生津止渴和開(kāi)胃的功效。杏中的維生素A、C、黃銅類(lèi)等物質(zhì),以及杏仁中的杏仁甙等,對(duì)人體具有防癌、抗癌作用。
