滑縣麥黃杏杏是夏季早熟水果，每年麥黃時(shí)成熟上市，故而得名。其特點(diǎn)是成熟早，個(gè)頭大，果肉甜，味鮮美，樹(shù)冠大，產(chǎn)量高�；�縣年產(chǎn)量在250～300萬(wàn)公斤左右�；�縣栽種杏樹(shù)距今已有3000多年的歷史。1978年后，滑縣每年把鮮杏加工成杏干、杏脯、罐頭等，銷(xiāo)往全國(guó)各地。杏營(yíng)養(yǎng)豐富，全身是寶，其核是有名的中藥。杏味酸甘、溫和，具有下氣潤(rùn)嗓，鎮(zhèn)咳定喘，生津止渴和開(kāi)胃的功效。杏中的維生素A、C、黃銅類(lèi)等物質(zhì)，以及杏仁中的杏仁甙等，對(duì)人體具有防癌、抗癌作用。
