方城縣，（古稱裕州）產丹參已有2000余年歷史。
       
    因品質優良，療效顯著，為區別于其它產地丹參，而冠以地名--裕丹參。《本草綱目》載：“丹參祛瘀止痛，活血通經，養神定志，通心包絡，治疝疼”。現代醫學研究表明：丹參具有擴張血管，降血壓、降血脂、抗血栓形成等作用，對冠心病、心絞痛、心肌梗塞、腦血栓及婦科疾病均有顯著的療效。
       
    方城丹參冠名“裕丹參”起源于金代，鼎盛明清。當時有著“丹參王，裕州長，品質好，療效良，上海、武漢藥莊藏；走水路，去留洋。”的佳譽。
       
    方城丹參（裕丹參）經國家參茸產品質量檢測中心及省、市藥品質量檢驗所化驗；“丹參酮Ⅱ含量為0.6％-0.67％”。
       
    因此，榮獲“仲景國際博覽會銀質獎”、“中國名牌產品”稱號。2003年，國家質量監督檢驗檢疫總局對：方城丹參（裕丹參）給予原產地保護。



 

Yuzhou Salvia Miltiorrhiza

    Fangcheng Town, with the name of Yuzhou in ancient time, has produced salvia miltiorrhiza for over 2000 years. It's named after its main producing area--Yuzhou to differ from other kinds. According to the medical classic Compendium of Materia Medica as well as modern medical researches, salvia miltiorrhiza can expand vessels, reduce blood press and blood fat, resist thrombosis; besides, it can make a positive curative effect on coronary, angina, myocardial infarction, cerebral thrombosis and gynaecology. Yuzhou Salvia miltiorrhiza origins from Jin Dynasty and reaches its developing peak in Ming and Qing Dynasty. It has ever won silver model in Zhongjing International Expo and title of Chinese Famous-brand Product.
