“蔡都”牌腐竹是汝南縣三里店鄉豆制品廠生產地名牌產品，以質優味美而聞名遐邇。其特點是：色金黃發亮，質地細膩，形如蒼竹，節節挺拔整齊，營養成分高，包裝考究，適宜外調遠銷。1984年6月，在農牧漁業部舉行的產品評優會上，被評為全國優質產品。1985年元月，在深圳國際展銷會上，頗享盛名。
     
    據考：腐竹是我國歷史悠久的傳統副食品。近代，全國都能生產。1982年，隨著糧食連年豐收，汝南縣三里店鄉辦起了豆制品廠，專一生產 蔡都“牌腐竹，以地產優質的黃豆為原料，歷經機械篩選、沖洗、電帶石磨成漿、蒸汽加熱煮漿、挑皮、烘干、切裁、成品包裝等多種工序制成。該廠引進了廣州腐竹廠的先進技術，對磨房、平鍋、烘干等設備結構進行了大膽地改革，增設了坑房通風設施，提高了豆漿的濃度，逐步實現了從篩選到成裝一整套的科學操作流水線，提高了腐竹質量和產量。目前，日產腐竹660斤，其中一級品占65%。
據有關部門化驗，一級產品中的蛋白質含量為49.16%，脂肪22.1%，還含有不同成分的氨基酸、糖、鈣等營養成分，有毒元素鉛和砷的含量分別小于0.05%和0.1%。溫水泡發后，即能食用。久食，可滋陰補腎，促進兒童發育，防治老年骨質疏松癥。
     
    蔡都“牌腐竹榮獲全國優質產品證書，產品供不應求。1985年，該廠已擴大生產，更強調產品質量。預計1986年腐竹年產可達900噸，在滿足國內市場需要的同時，爭取打入國際市場，為振興社會主義市場經濟發揮更大的作用。
