不同年齡的剪紙藝人有其不同的剪紙風格。老藝人大多以傳統風俗、民間趣聞為題材，如辟山救母、喜鵲登梅、鳥語花香、八駿圖等。中青年藝人著眼于時尚，緊跟潮流，她們創作的文體專輯中有拔河、體操、甲骨文等。　　　
       
    除剪紙外，北郭鄉民間文娛活動也很盛行。農民在農閑時節自發組織隊伍，編排節目，形成了各具特色的民間文娛活動團體，像該鄉的洋凡后街和南郭村的戰鼓 隊、徐北郭和武莊的秧歌隊、鄧莊的高蹺隊及郭孟辛莊、申莊、龍鳳村的撈兒腔劇團、豆官營的四股弦劇團等，把北郭鄉農民的生活點綴得多姿多彩。

   1998年在洹水迎春游園會比賽中被安陽市委宣傳部和文化局授予一等獎；

    2000年在文化廣場活動活動中被安陽縣委宣傳部授予先進鄉鎮；

    2000年在澳門回歸活動活動中被安陽縣委宣傳部授予先進單位；

    2000年被河南省授予民間藝術之鄉；

    2001年在安陽縣鄉村歌手大獎賽中獲組織獎；

    2002年在縣老齡委組織的老年人藝術表演活動中獲一等獎。

    2006年在紀念建黨85周年活動中，被縣文化局授予先進單位；

    2006年被縣文化局授予文化工作先進單位。 


   
    Folk art is various and plentiful, among which paper-cut in Henan and Hebei region is really a unique talent. Paper-cut art was delivered to Beiguo Village at the end of Qing Dynasty, which has been handed down for about 200 years till now. In recent years, in order to protect and develop this folk art, this village establishes a Folk Art Association under the support of Party and government, which makes this paper-cut art contain some modern art elements and full of energy again.  
     
    The members in the association vary from 8 to 80 years old. People in different age have different paper-cut feature. Old artists capture themes from traditional customs and folk interesting news, while the young pay their eyes to fashion and modern things, such as tug-of-war sport, gymnastics, etc. Beiguo was regarded as the Hometown of Folk Art in 2000 and awarded as Advanced Unit by County Cultural Bureau in 2006.
