內(nèi)黃李新張年畫是一個(gè)古老的集民間繪畫與雕刻藝術(shù)于一體的優(yōu)秀民間工藝，至今已有千余年歷史，主要流行于晉、冀、魯、豫地區(qū)，深受群眾喜愛。它輻射周邊地區(qū)，歷史悠久，風(fēng)格獨(dú)特，是民間繪畫藝術(shù)與民間雕刻藝術(shù)的活化石和珍品，蘊(yùn)藏著豐富的傳統(tǒng)藝術(shù)絕技，是我省文化藝術(shù)寶庫不可或缺的重要組成部分。有著十分重要的搶救、發(fā)掘、研究、弘揚(yáng)價(jià)值。
    
    內(nèi)黃李新張年畫早在唐代就已出現(xiàn)，它結(jié)合了皇宮的高貴與民間的樸實(shí)，具有集細(xì)膩、粗獷于一體的特征。它種類繁多，有6類84種。制作工藝復(fù)雜、套印母板獨(dú)特、色彩艷麗奪目、構(gòu)圖豐滿均衡，記錄和反映了我們中華民族凝聚于其中的思想、情感、倫理道德、價(jià)值觀念，是一筆集體手工勞動(dòng)的藝術(shù)結(jié)晶，是一筆珍貴的文化資源，具有很高的學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值、藝術(shù)價(jià)值和收藏價(jià)值。


    
    Li Xinzhang's New Year Pictures in Neihuang County is a historic excellent folk art which unit folk painting and carving art together. It enjoys a history of more than 1000 years and mostly prevails in Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan and other regions. These pictures are so distinctive that they are much popular with common people. They are regarded as living fossils and treasures of folk painting art and carving art, which contain abundant traditional artistic skills and are a significant part of artistic treasure house in our province.   
  
    Li Xinzhang's New Year Pictures appeared in as early as Tang Dynasty. Its feature is that it combining nobleness of the Imperial Palace and simplicity of folk life together, delicate and rough together. It has 6 series and 84 kinds, complicated making skill, distinctive original model, bright and attractive color as well as balanced picture shape. These characteristics make it a handmade artistic crafts and a precious cultural resource and at the same time contain high academic value, artistic value and collective value as well.
