仰韶黃杏,因果實如雞蛋,俗稱雞蛋杏;成熟成,肉核自然分離,搖之有響聲,又叫響鈴杏。因產(chǎn)于我國仰韶文化之區(qū),故定名為仰韶黃杏。仰韶黃杏是澠池人民在長期生產(chǎn)實踐中精心選育的名優(yōu)果品。此種杏樹,在本縣的適生面積達30萬畝以上。鮮果和加工制品,均受到國內外市場的好評。1985年6月,全省大杏鑒評中,參加鑒評的32個品種,澠池仰韶黃杏以91.94分獲得第一。仰韶黃杏,果實為橢圓形,果皮與果肉橙黃色,陽面有紅暈,果形大,平均單果重70克,最大單果重110克。果肉厚1.3~1.8厘米,肉、核重量比值為1∶0.44~0.48,肉質細韌,纖維少,酸甜適口,芳香濃郁,汁液豐富,制成的糖水杏、杏漿等均屬上品。制罐頭易操作,去皮性能良好,利用率高,成品質量好。
1987年在鄭州舉行的全國罐頭評比會上名列前茅。仰韶黃杏,結果早,盛果期長,嫁接后3年開始掛果,10年進入盛果期,一般單株可產(chǎn) 400~500斤,盛果期在40年以上,百年的大樹仍可產(chǎn)100斤以上。同時,仰韶黃杏抗逆性強、易管理,具有抗干旱、耐瘠薄、適應性強、病蟲害少、投資小、收益大等優(yōu)點。近幾年來,已有山東、河北、山西、甘肅、陜西、江西、云南、安徽、黑龍江等10個省市引種試栽。國家曾作為珍奇樹種,贈給馬尼亞的友好使者。
